2008 Young Creative Competition Teams
Pressure. How do you handle it? Can you handle it? Sometimes it’s only when the deadline approaches that we’re inspired to find the best ideas.
The winners of the first ever Young Creative Print Competition at the Dubai International Advertising Festival will have to work under the intense pressure, with only 24 hours to create a print ad, competing against teams from across the MENA region.
The brief will be delivered by a charity or non-profit organisation (whose identity will remain secret until the briefing), with teams delivering a print ad for a current campaign.
A maximum of 20 teams (one art director and one copywriter) will be provided with their own workstation and access to an image library. In controlled conditions, they must then produce a print ad which will be judged by the Dubai Lynx Awards Print, TV, Outdoor and Radio jury.
The winning team will be presented with a Gold Medal on stage at the gala awards evening on Wednesday 2 April.
