ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

  • When do you open delegate registration for the 2017 Festival?

    Delegate registration will open on Thursday 27 October 2016.

  • When is the latest you can register as a delegate?

    You can register right up until 7 March 2017. It is possible to register online or upon arrival at the Festival.

  • When will I receive my confirmation letter?

    In order for your registration to be processed, it is essential that you have paid your registration fee in full (including bank charges if you pay by bank transfer).

    If you pay by bank transfer, please email your bank transfer confirmation, including the Order Reference Number (DD/XXX - found in the subject header of your confirmation email), to our Finance Team.

    Once we have received payment and we have processed your registration, we will send a final booking confirmation email to the booking contact.

  • What do I do if I require a visa?

    Visas are generally required in order to gain entry into the United Arab Emirates.

    If you do require a visa, it will be possible to generate a visa invitation letter from the Confirmed Booking section of your My Account area.

    If your name appears differently on your passport to your registration, please contact the Registration Team

  • Will I have access to the Awards & Dinner?

    You have the option of adding an Awards Seat to your registration, as well as for a companion, for an additional fee. It is also possible to book a Half Awards’ Table (6 Seats) or Full Awards’ Table (12 Seats).

    Please note bookings are on a first come, first served basis.

    Please also note those attending the Dubai Lynx Awards must be 21 years and over.

CLUB PASSES

  • What does a Club Pass include?

    A Club Pass includes full access to the Festival plus accommodation at the Mina A Salam hotel. You can choose between a Club Pass that includes 3 or 4 nights’ accommodation. Please see here for options and prices.

  • Who can purchase a Club Pass?

    Those wishing to purchase a Full Delegate, Young Lynx Creative or Young Lynx Marketer will also have the option of choosing between a Club Pass (3 Nights) and Club Pass (4 Nights). Prices will be announced and registration will open on 27 October 2016.

  • What happens if I cancel my Club Pass?

    We do not issue refunds or credit for cancellations and your hotel reservation will also be cancelled.

UPGRADES / DOWNGRADES

  • Can I upgrade or downgrade my pass?

    If you wish to upgrade a delegate pass, you can do so from the Confirmed Booking section of your My Account area, by clicking on the Upgrade icon next to the delegate’s name. Please note additional fees apply for upgrades and you will need to proceed to payment for the upgrade, from the My Basket section.

    If you wish to downgrade a delegate pass, you can also do this from the Confirmed Booking section. You will need to click on Amend and then Downgrade Delegate.

    Please note our cancellation policy also applies to downgrades.

ONLINE BOOKINGS

  • Can I use my password from the previous year?

    Yes, you can use your login and password from the previous year.

    If you have forgotten your password please click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ link and enter the email address you used to create your account. You should then receive an email to reset your password.

  • Is it possible to register more than one delegate before paying or must I pay for each delegate at the same time?

    You can register several delegates before submitting to pay and do not have to pay for all registered delegates at the same time. You can also register delegates and then return to your My Account area and register additional delegates or make changes before paying.

  • What if I do not know the names of the delegates attending?

    If you do not yet know the full details of those attending, you can still register the delegates. It will be possible to choose a registration type and the number of delegates you wish to register.

    They will appear as ‘Unnamed Delegate’ from the My Basket section and you will need to proceed to payment / confirm registrations. Once you have the details, you will be able to update the registration from the Confirmed Booking section of your My Account area.

YOUNG DELEGATES

  • Who is eligible for the Young Lynx passes?

    The Young Lynx Creative pass is for young professionals aged 30 years or under, born after 8 March 1986.

    The Young Lynx Marketer pass is for young professionals working for a client company, aged 32 years or under, born after 8 March 1984.

  • For a Young Lynx pass, do I need to upload any documents?

    As a Young Lynx you are required to upload proof of age (e.g. a copy of your passport or driving licence) when registering online.

    Please note you will not be able to complete your registration without uploading your proof of age.

REPLACEMENTS / CANCELLATIONS

  • Am I able to replace a delegate registration?

    Please note you can make a replacement at any time by going to the Confirmed Booking section of your My Account area, clicking on Amend and then Replace Delegate.

    At the Festival, a replacement can be made by completing a replacement form which must be accompanied by a letter from the contact company or authorised by a senior member of staff.

  • Am I able to cancel a delegate registration?

    You can cancel at any time from the Confirmed Booking section of your My Account area, however please note we do not issue refunds or credit for cancellations.

    This policy also applies to Awards Seat / Table bookings and downgrades.

    Delegate registration cancellations will result in the automatic cancellation of hotel reservations.

  • What currencies are accepted?

    Registration fees are in US Dollars or UAE Dirham.  

  • What methods of payment are accepted?

    Delegates can pay prior to the Festival with the below credit card types or they can choose to pay upon arrival at the Festval:

    • VISA (2.25% handling fee)
    • MasterCard (2.25% handling fee)
    • American Express (2.7% handling fee)

    Delegates can pay at the Festival with:

    • VISA (2.25% handling fee)
    • MasterCard (2.25% handling fee)
    • American Express (2.7% handling fee)
    • Cash 
    • Cheque
  • How do I pay by Bank Transfer?

    If you have completed your registration by choosing Bank Transfer, our account details are as follows:

STUDENTS

  • Who is eligible for the Student pass?

    This pass is available to full-time students, aged 25 years or under (born after 8 March 1991) and who are not employed/ have never been employed in the industry.

  • For a Student pass, do I need to upload any documents?

    You will be required to upload copies of the following documents when registering online:

    -          Proof of age (e.g. a copy of your passport or driving licence)

    -          Student ID

    -          Enrolment letter (confirming you are in full-time education)

    Please note you will not be able to complete your registration without uploading your documents.
