For the first ever MBC Student Hack, students were challenged to create a solution on a Corporate Social Responsibility brief within just twenty four hours, all with mentoring and training from the team at MBC. On the first day of the Dubai Lynx Festival, students had the opportunity to meet with the MBC team and be placed in groups with other universities in the MENA region. Here they learnt about the Group, met their peers and brainstormed before the challenge took place. After an intense 24 hours, the students then presented to an esteemed panel of judges with the winning team announced at the Dubai Lynx student awards presentation on the last day of the festival. The winning team went home with MBC medals and an opportunity to shadow a department head at MBC.
Congratulations to the winners!
The winning team was Team 5 with Rohan Bhatia from SP Jain, Mishal Peracha from SAE Institute and Ana Julia de Oliveira from Middlesex University, Dubai.
The 2018 Hack is now closed. The next Hack will take place at the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity 2019. Stay tuned for updates.
