What is the Global CMO Growth Council?

Launched in 2018 at Cannes Lions, the CMO Growth Council features 50 CMOs from some of the world’s biggest global brands. Chaired by P&G's Marc Pritchard, the council represents the collective agenda and voice of a unified community of marketing’s leaders. Founding council members include Unilever, AB InBev, Burger King, TenCent, AT&T, Mars, Inc. and Mastercard. The council was created in partnership with the Association of National Advertisers with the purpose of identifying the common barriers to growth in our industry. The council has identified four global priorities that, if tackled correctly, would have the greatest impact in driving growth. For more information about this global initiative click here.


Global CMO Growth Council Meeting at Dubai Lynx - Creativity that Powers Full Funnel Effectiveness

Along with our partner Accenture, we invited a select group of CMOs and senior brand marketers to join a session, which focused on Creativity that Powers Full Funnel Effectiveness.

This was the second time that a special assembly of the Global CMO Growth Council took place in the MENA region. All delegates are responsible for their global company’s marketing function throughout the MENA region, or the lead marketing for an organization that is based locally in the region.

The Growth Council MENA chapter gives you the opportunity to have your say and contribute to the CMO Growth Council cause: getting to grow. Creativity is pivotal to driving business growth, and gaining global perspective is essential to establishing gold-standard solutions.

During this meeting, we showcased some of the best in class work from the Effectiveness Lynx and Lions winners, and attendees were able to exchange personal insights and experiences that apply to their businesses.


Tangible Learnings and Outcomes

The key takeaways from this meeting will be aggregated together with similar meetings that are taking place among chief marketers in Europe, North America and Asia.


Each of the groups were invited to come together for the Global CMO Growth Council’s annual Leadership Forum at the Cannes LIONS Festival in June.

Attendance to the session also allowed access to the global growth council resources site for marketers.
