The competition brief

In a brief, provided by The World Food Programme, you will be tasked with deploying Snapchat’s full-suite of advertising capabilities (Snap Ads, Lenses, Filters and Story Ads) and tools (Lens Studio and Snap Publisher) to help you solve the creative challenge at hand.

Winners will be awarded with a three-night trip to Los Angeles including flights, accommodation and a visit to Snap Inc. as well as have your work showcased at the Dubai Lynx Festival.

How to enter

  • Submissions can be:
    • Actual lenses or storyboards of the creative idea
    • Or a short animation or video (Maximum 30 seconds)
  • Entries must include the use of a Lens (AR)
  • Please include a small description of the user’s journey
  • 1 Lens/Campaign Submission per team
  • Entry is open to professionals working in agencies (creative, media, production, PR etc) or as freelancers in the MENA region. 
  • It is not open to employees of government or state entities, including employees of private businesses partially or wholly owned by the state
  • Entry can be as individual or team up to 3 people (entries are based on individuals or team and not on behalf of your agency)
  • 5 shortlisted campaigns will receive a free ticket to Dubai Lynx, and present their work on stage to a jury panel
  • Winners will be announced at Dubai Lynx Festival 2020
