Emma Williams is a Senior Director at Edelman and a Board Director of the Irish Advertising Practitioners of Ireland (IAPI); she is the first person from a communications background to be elected to that board. Emma leads large global accounts at Edelman such as Coca-Cola and Unilever and this work sees Emma devise brand strategies across numerous brands in the portfolio including all sports and entertainment sponsorships. Emma also works with Coca-Cola’s alcohol brands and launched their hard seltzer Topo Chico in the Irish Market. Over her 10 years’ in the industry she has devised brand strategies for some of Ireland’s biggest brands including National Lottery, The Doyle Collection, KBC Bank, SSE Airtricity and Very. Emma represented Ireland as a Young Lion at the Cannes Festival of Creativity and was shortlisted by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) and the Public Relations Communications Association (PRCA) that same year for the Young Communications Professional of the Year award. Emma was also named on PR Week UK’s 30 Under 30 list.
