Biography
As a new generation leader, Fiona is focused on being the best we can be, through cultural leadership and client excellence.
As CEO of the media, commercial and client parts of dentsu, Fiona is passionate about joint success and working with all teams and business to create a vibrant and positive industry as one.
As a London native, Fiona now lives in Sydney but has worked and lived in many parts of the world, enjoying the experience that diverse markets bring.
Prior to dentsu, Fiona was CEO of UM ANZ, a Top 5 global market for IPG, working with the Australian Federal Government, Coca-Cola and Singtel-Optus. She later moved into a Global IPG, Mediabrands leadership role based in London, to help support regional CEOs in their ambitions and success.
In her formative career years, she helped lead PepsiCo EMEA to success in music and sport platforms, across all brands as marketing activation lead for EMEA, UK and Global. As a junior, she helped lead Wonderbra, London Fashion week and Vogue Online to ‘dot.com’ success.
Fiona has a BAHONS Degree with Distinction from Edinburgh, and in the past, has run large music festivals, creative agencies (and a nightclub too!)
Fiona is a qualified master coach and yoga & meditation teacher. She also supports girls' schools and education in under developing countries.
She is an active board member of the Media Federation Australia and the Cruising Yacht Club Australia (CYC).
She obtained her directorship from Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) in 2019.
Fiona was previously a Global Media Judge for Cannes Festival of Creativity 2021, in France. As well as a judge for the 2020 Australia CMO Awards.
She is a Top 2 finalist for ‘CEO of the Year Award’, all industries, Australia 2020.
