Biography

John is an Executive Creative Director with a background in Design & Art Direction.

Having worked in healthcare for over a decade, he has seen a huge transformation within the industry. Helping shape and push healthcare advertising forwards by working on a huge variety of campaigns. From global blockbuster drug launches in diabetes, psoriasis and oncology, to campaigns for local charities. He’s also written a children’s book helping parents spot early signs of dyslexia and developed a football badge that helps people learn CPR.

Over the past few years John has run creative departments at some of the biggest health agencies with a range of clients in the US and globally. During this time, he has picked up numerous industry awards including at D&AD, Clio’s, LIA’s, Lions, Art Directors Club, Caples, Creative Floor and in 2019 was the winner of Cannes Young Lions UK. He was also part of the team winning Cannes Health Agency of the year & LIA Health and Pharma Agency of the years. Over the past 3 years he has been ranked #1 Creative Director in the UK in Lurzer’s Archive.

As somebody that has been lucky enough to benefit from various industry programmes, he has always believed in paying it back. That’s why he has helped mentor young creatives as part of Creative LIAisons and One Club Portfolio reviews as well as working with various universities and creative courses to help the next generation of talent.
