With over two decades of strong experience in Contents, PR, Digital, Social Media, Events, Live Concerts and Sports Marketing, Melissa Caranto now leads MSL Vietnam.
She started off in Consumer Engagement back in 2005 with 141 Worldwide, and moved on to her first PR role with Ogilvy PR. The next 8 years was with the Dentsu where she spearheaded the first-in-country FIFA World Cup™ 2010 exclusive broadcast rights, that led to the establishment of Dentsu Media Vietnam. During her stay, she drove the agency to win 3 consecutive AOY awards and various local recognitions. She was promoted to a regional role to manage the expansion of content platforms such as the Sasuke (Ninja Warrior) while taking active roles as the Head of Planning & Business Development for the APAC & EU region.
Prior to MSL Vietnam, she worked closely with large Vietnamese conglomerates in planning special projects. Establishing the basketball sports industry in a Football dominated country. Key accomplishments included planning for the local Vietnam team, the Vietnam Basketball Association and signing the NBA broadcast and digital rights for the country. This created a new space to create campaign integrations that included the Brands, Talents, Consumers, and the Government.
