Biography

Rafael has won more than 40 Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival across 18 different categories, including two unprecedented Grand Prix for Brazil (Glass and B2B). He has worked at renowned agencies such as Africa, VMLY&R, and AlmapBBDO. Currently, he is the CCO at Artplan, the largest independent agency in Brazil. His work has been exhibited in museums in New York and Los Angeles.

Additionally, he has won gold at all the major industry awards, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio, Andy, El Ojo, LIA, and more.

Winner of four Effie Grand Prix (2015, 2016, 2023, and 2024), he gained significant recognition for campaigns such as ‘Generation - VW 70 Years’ for Volkswagen, 'Buscapé' for Vivo & Motorola, 'Earth4' for the UN Global Compact & B3, 'I Am' for Starbucks, and 'Guarded Bus Stop' for Eletromídia.
