Biography

As Ketchum UK CEO, and with a distinguished career spanning over 20 years, Sera brings extensive experience in agency leadership and strategic innovation.

Since joining Ketchum in 2021, she has held two key roles, Deputy CEO of Ketchum UK, and most recently, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for Global Markets. In these capacities, she has been instrumental in driving business growth, co-creating Ketchum’s global innovation agenda and leading global strategic priorities across all markets outside the US.

In her role as senior client counsel on Adobe, Philips and Unilever Sera has delivered significant growth across EMEA and in the UK, in addition to delivering strategic consultancy to some of Ketchum’s key global clients including 3M and PepsiCo Frito-Lay.

Prior to her tenure at Ketchum, Sera co-founded the strategy and innovation consultancy The Fawnbrake Collective and served as CEO of the Material Communications Group. Her career is marked by her work with global clients such as Google, Carlsberg Group, and Access Intelligence, as well as leading integrated UK-based teams on accounts including Lloyds Banking Group and SSE Plc. Her achievements have been widely recognised, including being named Drum Marketer of the Year and, most recently, listed in PRovoke’s Innovator 25 class in EMEA for 2023.

An active member of industry network WACL, Sera is dedicated to championing access, diversity, and equity for all, actively mentoring through her role as ambassador for Creative Mentors Network and in support of organisations such as Brixton Finishing School.

A Fellow of the IPA, Sera authored Effectiveness Essentials for the organisation and brings a passion for strategic excellence and creative communications effectiveness to her role at Ketchum and is focused on working collaboratively across Ketchum UK’s client base to deliver on the next stage of our consultancy journey, unlocking success and growth for clients through work that matters.
