Biography
Donya is a Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Culture in Saudi Arabia, where she oversees brand marketing and communications across initiatives including the Diriyah Biennale Foundation (DBF) and the JAX district. Italian-born and trilingual in English, Italian and Arabic, Donya’s career as a brand, marketing and communications strategist spans almost two decades across WPP, Omnicom, Publicis and IPG companies in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Across continents and disciplines, Donya has provided strategic counsel to c-suite leaders, senior government officials and international development organizations in navigating times of intense transformation, supporting them in their efforts to spark meaningful connections with audiences across cultures.
She has served as a jury member to the MENA Effie, Transform MEA, WARC Strategy Prize and the New York Festival of Creativity, and as a speaker at In2Summit and Athar Festival in Riyadh. She was also recognized as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum in 2013. Donya earned her MBA from the London Business School and Hon. B.A. from McMaster University in Canada.
