Shane, a Graduate of Trinity College Dublin, is a veteran of the film production industry in the Middle East, having been making and commercials and content for the region for over 25 years. He has produced and directed numerous commercials since then and been instrumental in helping to create a viable professional production industry in the UAE.

Shane started Boomtown Productions in London in 1999, opening in Dubai in 2003. Today Boomtown is a well-established and internationally recognized. It is known for quality, creativity and innovation, delivering effective visual communications across all media, producing commercials, digital content, long form, documentaries and now developing feature films, Boomtowns output is diverse and relevant.

He has been responsible for some notable firsts in the region, winning awards for commercials and branded content at the Cannes Lions, the Dubai Lynx, The one show, NY festivals, London International advertising awards, and for documentaries and long form content at Abu Dhabi Film Festival and the Cannes Dolphins.
