Dubai Lynx are aligned with engaging MENA’s youth in the region and helping them discover their creative potential. As the region’s premiere festival for the creative communications industry, we aim to develop a generation of media, advertising and creative talent in the MENA region.

Take part in our Student Competitions

The competitions below are open to full-time Undergraduate university students only between the ages of 18-25. Students must be based in MENA and not currently or previously employed with any organisation on a full-time or part-time basis, who are studying Advertising, Media, or relevant creative fields.

Who enters?

The curious, keen-to-learn university students that call MENA home are set to be the region’s future creative stars. The aim of the Dubai Lynx Student Competitions is to help them develop, thrive and showcase themselves to the creative communications industry.

Student Cover competition 

Dubai Lynx, in partnership with Campaign ME, calls for standout creative students from the MENA region to create the front cover for the issue of the magazine. The competition challenges entrants to create an exciting and original cover design based on a real brief. Only individual entry submissions are allowed - team based entries will not be accepted.

MBC Hack

Student Integrated Competition

This challenging competition asks students to craft and submit an attention-grabbing campaign using three forms of media in response to the brief set by UAE UNstereotype alliance. Only individual entry submissions are allowed - team based entries will not be accepted.

The Creative Hackathon

The student hack in partnership with Dubai Media City allowed students to participate in a realtime 24-hour competition. Students will earn industry-wide recognition by being awarded on stage at the 2023 Lynx Awards ceremony.
