James Feeler is a vocalist, drummer, pianist, and synesthete who says he can ‘hear the scripts.’ He is the Founder, CEO, and Creative Director of Jamute, a multi-award-winning audio company with 108 Cannes Lions (1 Titanium, 3 Grand Prix), 95 Clio Awards, 38 D&AD, 118 LIA and hundreds of other honors, earning a spot three times in The One Club for Creativity Global Top 10. Jamute was named Production Company of the Year 2024 by Meio & Mensagem, and James won the 2024 Caboré Award.

He has served on top juries worldwide: Cannes Lions 2022 in the category Radio & Audio Lions, Clio Awards 2023 (Audio & Audio Craft), and was Jury President at the 2024 Clio Awards (Film Craft: Music & Sound Design). He has also judged Clube de Criação de São Paulo and Effie Awards.

James produced the audio for History Channel’s Zona de Conflito (2014) and composed the score for HBO’s Câmera Entre Balas (2025), about Latin American war photographers.
