Mohamed Diaa is the Executive Creative Director of Joan New York, where he leads the creative department and oversees work for eBay, WNBA, and Grayscale among others. He previously served as ECD at Ogilvy New York on Samsung and spent nearly a decade at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam shaping campaigns for Nike, Instagram, EA Games, Google, and Facebook.

His work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, and has been covered by outlets including CNN, Vice, and Time. He is especially proud of Nike’s ‘What Will They Say About You?’, a campaign rooted in the lived experiences of his wife and sister and the cultural expectations women face around sport in the Middle East.

Diaa lives in Brooklyn with his family and remains a committed Liverpool F.C. fan, for better or worse.
