Biography

Sander Mölder is a genre-blurring composer, music producer, and creative with a richly diverse musical background. Trained as a cellist, he has performed worldwide — from London’s Royal Albert Hall to Spain’s Primavera Festival — moving effortlessly between classical, electronic, and experimental projects.

Restlessly curious, he co-wrote his first opera with Marianna Liik in 2014 and co-runs a soul-driven label TIKS, releasing acclaimed solo albums and contributing as a producer and co-writer across numerous projects. His classical work spans electroacoustic pieces to contemporary ballets, including Keres (2018), Golden Temple(2020), and a recent Estonian National Opera commission on the life of Louis XIV.

Mölder’s music also shapes theatre productions and has worked on high-profile commercial work for clients in Japan, Canada, Estonia.

As a DJ, he’s celebrated for his eclectic sets that weave together global folk, techno, soul, and classical influences. He has played at every major Estonian festival, the Estonian President’s summer reception, and an extensive list of international stages across Europe, Asia, and North America.

His dance tracks have earned airtime from tastemakers like Gilles Peterson (BBC1/BBC6), Lexis (Music Is My Sanctuary), and Ennio Styles (Triple R Melbourne), with releases spanning Estonia, Italy, France, and the UK.
