Biography
Sanne Houterman is one of the youngest female Strategy Directors in the Netherlands, leading the strategy department at Cheil Benelux and shaping ideas at the intersection of creativity, technology and commerce. She has guided strategies across sectors and markets ranging from energy and hospitality to public services and fast-moving consumer goods, consistently driving work that connects cultural insight with purposeful innovation.
Passionate about strategy that fuses creativity, craft and impact, she played a key role in The DropStore, an immersive physical and digital experience that made climate urgency tangible by showing the real-world impact of global water scarcity. She also helped shape The Unforgettable 2 Minutes, a project demonstrating how audio storytelling can spark long-term emotional engagement and societal reflection. Her work reflects a commitment to ideas that show rather than tell, and that make complex issues accessible through creativity.
