Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity has announced a new partnership with Publicis Groupe to launch an exciting academy for young professionals in the MENA region. The Young Lynx Academy will take place between 12 - 14 March 2023 ahead of the Dubai Lynx Festival content which will run on 14 March.
The Academy is designed to support young talent within the creative communications sector by offering them a free, bespoke mentorship opportunity. Hosted over three days, the immersive programme will include inspiring content from keynote talks and workshops from industry leaders across the region to inspire and guide participants - as well as a 24-hour hack competition allowing young talent to push their strategic and creative boundaries, working on a charity brief.
Thea Skelton, Festival Director, Dubai Lynx said, “We are thrilled to launch the 2023 edition of the Young Lynx Academy. This programme offers a fantastic opportunity for young creatives to gain first-hand experience of working in a competitive, fast-paced environment, setting the bar higher for talent in MENA.”
The Academy is open to ambitious young talent 30 or younger working for at least a minimum of one year in the creative, media, digital or social industry in the GCC or MENA region. Successful applicants will also receive tickets to attend the Festival and the Lynx Party on 14 March.
Commenting on the partnership with Dubai Lynx, Bassel Kakish, Groupe CEO of Publicis Groupe Middle East said, "We believe that investing in the next generation is investing in our future, so it was a natural decision to support the Young Lynx Academy and contribute to the development of talent across the region. Through this programme, young individuals will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and insights, shaping them into the leaders of tomorrow.”
